Vai had been enjoying his tea and sitting at the table quietly. He had actually been day dreaming during the talking and snapped back to reality as Dolemdil stood and left.

Vai looked at Laurelin dumbfounded. She nodded for him to follow Dolemdil, so he finished his drink and stood, pushing his chair back in. "Excuse me, ladies." he said as he followed Dolemdil upstairs, finally catching her. "What are we doing?" he asked.

"Elves" Dolemdil said outloud in what little Dwarvish she knew. "We need to think of a way to get rid of our friendly stalkers."

"I suppose the morons will be by this way, searching for your mother. If someone acts as a lookout and can warn us when they approach, we could set up two or three snipers up here in the house. There's only four of five of them and immediately taking out two or three would greatly increase our odds."

Vai walked over to a window, "I don't know how well your family or Summer can fight, but suprise is going to be our best option. As far as the stalkers go, they will think that your mother is here alone and will most likely have their guard down."

Vai then walked back over to Dolemdil, "Did you have any ideas?"

Dolemdil thought for a minute. "We don't have much of a surprise, just the 2 of us...What if we actually approached them?"

"If it is just the two of us, then taking them head on is probably better." Vai agreed. "I was rather hoping the three ladies downstairs could act as snipers while we moved in on the group. My only fear with a head-on approach is the possibility of them surrounding us."

Dolemdil stared at Vai for a second, "There's 4 of them...and one of them is an idiot and 1 won't get his hands dirty, hence he uses hired men."

"True," he responded, "but who knows when the going gets tough. He may decide to step in. We'll take our chances." Vai took offhis upper armor and removed a small repair kit from his belt. He sat in a chair in the room and began sewing up tears in the stiching and leather. "We'll be ready anyways."

Dolemdil sighed and noded looking out the window. A small smoke trail could be seen aways off. Their fire had been doused. They are coming. ((I feel like Gandalf))

"I'm going to find the little girls' room." Dolemdil said and walked out the door.

((Did I give the man who's hunting us a name?))

"Very well." Vai said, finishing his repair work. "I'll be waiting for you out front when you're done." He tightened the last knot, put his toolkit away, and then put his armor back on.

Vai headed back downstairs and out the door.
