I know expelledexposed.com has been plugged a few times... but never enough.
I just saw the movie this weekend. I read the whole expelled exposed site beforehand and brought printouts to the theater. It was a great skeptics' guidebook to the film. Unfortunately, I didn't run into anyone who wanted a debate after the movie.
After reading about what actually happened to the "expelled", all of the claims of the movie were hilarious.
As for the interviews with the evolutionary biologists... talk about creative editing. Stein probably asked what all of the potential hyptheses were for the origin of life and simply spliced together the more outlandish sounding ones. Also, when Stein said that the "Primortial Soup + Lightning" experiment didn't work, he completely missed the point of the experiment. The experiment produced amino acids, the building blocks for life, and was deemed a positive result. Not to mention that Stein pulled the classic "Cell from the primortial soup" strawman. According to biologists, the single cell took 3 BILLION years to evolve from the first self-replicating molecule.
Anyway, I'm sure this has all been said already... check out expelled exposed!

is the kind of result that can be expected from this heinous lying film. We may laugh at it, call it ridiculous, point out the misinformation and lies, but with a US population which appears to be woefully undereducated in the sciences, and in world history, it is no longer funny, but in fact is dangerous.
I'm very sorry, southern neighbours, but it appears you have serious work to do if you are to dispel the hate propaganda against scientists and atheists this film has presented. Everyone who sees this movie is being told that Darwinism = Hitler's Final Solution, and that all evolutionists are atheists who would agree with Hitler's philosophy and actions. I would guess the OP of this thread already believes that, despite having access right in this forum to all the information they could possibly need to understand how false it is.

Wow, so I guess the Dover trial never happened then? All the putrid crap that consititutes ID (not to mention the lies told by the Christian schoolboard that were exposed during the trial) suddenly turned to roses? Maybe the school board should have had Ben Stein lead their case?
