well, I've always been allowed to watch pretty much whatever I wanted.
And I turned out just fine! Well, im an atheist so not that "fine" in your eyes but still, It didnt harm me in any way.
I haven't read any of the above posts but to answer the question, no. And I wouldn't even watch it myself. The attitudes and actions on those shows are not Christlike and the Bible tells us to meditate on things which are pure, noble, and praiseworthy. Gosh, three year olds are so easily influenced I can't even imagine letting my kids watch it for a second.
I don't really see anything wrong with the Simpsons. Family Guy is a completely different story> king of the hill is no big deal, it's dry humor that doesn't seem to go anywhere vulgar. However, I wouldn't keep putting it on for my three year old and I doubt they'd show much interest in the shows. My son wouldn't have at that age.

Nope! There are better things than that, especially for a kid!

My parents did, too, but even they stopped letting me watch Simpsons because I repeated a few things Bart said to my mom. lol Couldn't resist! Still, I'm very careful of what my son watches because he repeats so much so I know he's retaining more than I am probably aware of.

I would never let my three year old watch those shows! My baby girl is only a month old and I've already made up my mind about her watching mostly instructional cartoons and stuff and even those are going to be limited. I don't want her to become so absorbed in television ^.^

I didn't even like these cartoons until I got older lol. I was more like: okay, this isn't funny. I'm gonna watch something else now...
And if you would restrict it now because of him repeating so much, in a couple of years he'll just come across these shows / sayings no matter what you might do
I work in a high school, and teachers now sometimes use the Simpsons in their lessons.
They're feelings about it are, and I quote:
"What made it edgy was the disrespect. Really, I'd *love* it if a kid told me to eat his shorts, rather than 'f--- you, you're a horrible teacher!' "
