There is also some exciting and breaking news to share concerning Ami Ortiz, the young man who was almost killed when a bomb hidden in a Purim basket exploded in the living room of his home almost two years ago. Finally, after much foot dragging, the police arrested a suspect in the attempted murder of this family. As most believed, he and his wife (she too was arrested) are members of an extreme ultra orthodox sect who believe that that they were doing God's will when they attempted to murder this believing family.
The court has issued a gag order but when it is lifted, this will undoubtedly be a big story throughout the Israeli media.* Please pray for this family as they will again be in the spotlight when this story breaks. The fact that in this instance it was Jews who were trying to kill other Jews in the homeland of the Jewish people will be a deeply
distressing reality to most Israelis. Pray that God will use this horrendous attack and its unfolding story to work a deeper understanding of who we truly are as Jewish believers in Yeshua. Pray that there would be a just and righteous verdict from the court as this case makes its way through the Israeli justice system.*

Ami just finished high school and he is doing well. He's considering going to the States to study at a Christian college. His ailments from the bombing prevent him from serving in the IDF.
Just so you know from a personal relationship with him and his family -- Ami is a special kid and the Lord spared his life because he's going to be incredible for the Kingdom!

Three days ago, the ultra orthodox were outside my house with megaphones cursing us etc.  One of these days, the Spirit of God is going to descend so strong upon our persecutors and they are going to be awaken like Paul!

This got me to thinking and the statement about Jews killing Jews. While this seems to be a horrendous thing, when you look at it from the perspective of the Torah, isn't that what G-d does demand? 6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying , Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known , thou, nor thy fathers; 7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; 8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare , neither shalt thou conceal him: 9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death , and afterwards the hand of all the people. 10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die ; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the L-RD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
According to Judaism Christianity's Jesus is another god. HaShem tells us not to pity anyone (meaning family , other Jews) that tries to turn us away from him. Christianity teaches that the Torah is done away with which is leading one away from G-d.
