(Are they all going to know each other already, or have them meet in time?)
Liviella rode across the countryside pondering of the current politica issues. Her main thaughts consisted of the riders and how much of an impact on the king and the common people had reacted to the new rider, Eragon and his dragon, Saphira. There had been rebellions and other outbreaks among the people. Galbatorix was furious and was showing his wrath by recruting troops to attack the Varden. Over a hundred years of oppression, rebellion of the people was not unexpected - not even to the king, which was why he had ruled with an iron hand. She had her suspicions on how he kept growing stronger every year, but she kept them to herself.
When she arrived in a small village, all the minds she could touch had fear and allertness in them. A few brave souls peeked out of their homes, some of the younger men were transfixed at her beauty. She took no notice. She stopped in a store to replenish her supplies. There were a few men in a corner of the store talking political matters. She kept her ears trained in on their conversation.
"King's sending an army. Hear he's going to send it out on the rebeling people of his kingdom" One man said in a low, deep voice.
"Nonsence. That would just get the people even more riled up. He finds us a neusance. He wouldn't bother on little specs like us. He's getting desperate, though. Rounding up young men and even older men to force them into his army. What's his ultumat goal I wonder..." a second man said, sensibly.
"Maybe he's trying to rule the whole world. Or maybe to bring an end to the dragonriders." the third of the group suggested thaughtfully.
"Possibly, but if that's true, then why is HE a dragonrider? Why hasn't he seized the Caderac dessert?" the second contadicted.
Liviella had heard all this speculation before, but, she continued to listen for the sake of more infomation that could be gathered of a new rumor that might be spread. She asked for food and drink before she had to set off again.

Jaromir looked around the forest path he was following. It was quiet. Very quiet. Too quiet... Of course that was to be suspected, considering all that had been going on with Eragon and his dragon. Jaromir had heard all about his little adventure, and about how he supposedly gave some baby his "blessing". Jaromir was one of them that had no side; neither against the rebellion or with it. Though if he was forced to choose....he would choose Galbatorix's side. Why; simply because Galbatorix had power, and lots of money. Jaromir considered himself kind of like a mercenary, a little different perhaps, but still a mercenary.
Jaromir looked ahead. He was entering a small village. He eyed the few people that glanced out at him warily. That gave them a wrong impression, Jaromir could tell. This could mean trouble.
Teresa walked through the village. Stopping in a store, She had not really paying attention to what the men were talking about. Teresa asked for her drink then left. She wanted to get out of the town soon. She didn't really like it there.

Reason: ....
The men got done talking and left the shop. Liviella finished her meal, paid, and left, after the men. She was curious to see who had come in, so she untied her horse and lead it to where the man was. She stayed in the shadows of the building and watched this new arrival.
