"Nut." Jaromir murmured sheathing his sword, once he was sure she was out of earshot. He turned his horse around, from where he had been facing her, and kicked its sides. The horse galloped forward.
(I thought I would get this ball rolling again. It's been ages.)
Liviella galloped back to town. There, she went into a weapons store, and looked at them for comparison reasons. "Aren't ye a bit to delacate to be looking at such rough weaponry, miss?" the man behind the counter said.
"Well, if you want to judge by looks, I suppose... Tell me, are these weapons the latest there is?" Liviella asked, like an interested customer.
"Yea, miss. Everything is the most up to date and strongest there is around. Ye won't find a better deal around." the man said, acting the salesman now.
"Interesting... When did you get these in?" Liviella asked, pointing to the shields.
"Just got 'em in last week." he said proudly.
"Thank you. Now, if you will excuse me..." Liviella said, moving away, but still in the store.
"Of course, miss." the clerk said, getting the point.
(Sappir, you can come in at any time)

Teresa walked through town. None of the stores really interested her, as most towns, But one store caught her eye. A weaponry shop. She slowly walked in.
Teresa walked up to the counter "excuse me but, how much for those swords up there?" Teresa said pointing to a pair of twin swords.
"That'd be twenty crowns. No less." The clerk said, dispasionately.
Liviella heard, uniterested, but nonetheless was curious what she would want with twin swords.
It was then, that she heard an enormous ruckus outside. It sounded like a good number of men moving in uniform movement. And, when she rushed out to see, That was what she saw.
"Oh no! Clerk, you should stay out of sight if you know what's good for you... There's a raid happening right outside." Liviella said, in a worried voice.
"I don't believe you." The clerk said, suspicious.
"No? Then perhaps it would be better if you came and saw for yourself.
They were making an enormous amount of trouble. They were destroying and raiding, and such. The leader sat on the back of a proud horse. She recognized him. It was Ringaard. A right hand man, so to speak, of the king, Galbatorix. Ringaard was smiling, but a forced smile. She noticed that he was looking for something. She had heard rumors about his doings, but this was the first she had seen of his activities. She had heard that he was in search, for his own greed, of The Seven Stared Seal. More commonly, and laxly called, The Seal. The Elves had given The Seal to the Riders long ago, but the leader had lost it. If it was ever found by someone who could do magic, they were in big trouble. It had to be returned to the Elves before that happened.
******************** (Hope no one minds if I do Ringaard. We need, sort of, a villian's point of view)
Were was it? Ringaard asked himself fiercely. He had come, yet again, to another small village. He was having his men search for the confounded thing before they destroyed anybuilding. The object of his search was The Seven Stared Seal. It was a small object with two circles, one inside the other, with 4 bars going out of it, but stopped when they reached the outer circle. The legend said it had been taken by a fisherman from a small village, but it didn't specify WHICH small village. Ringaard swung his sword down in frustration on an innocent villager, who, unluckily had been too close. The slain villager fell - dead. It didn't make Ringaard feel any better. His eyes flashed angrily. This was beginning to grow old and tiring. He couldn't do this without the King's knowledge for long. Then, he repremanded himself before his anger could get too out of control. He would find it. It would only take time...

"Twenty crowns?...ok, exuse m..." She voice trailed off as another woman said, "Oh no! Clerk, you should stay out of sight if you know what's good for you... There's a raid happening right outside." Liviella said, in a worried voice.
"I don't believe you." The clerk said, suspicious.
"No? Then perhaps it would be better if you came and saw for yourself.
Teresa followed the clerk. As she looked outside she saw a villager fall to the ground, dead. "What is happening?" Teresa asked the other woman.
"At first glance, it would appear to be a raid. I'm aware of the rumors concerning the leader, so I know that's not true. He's looking for something. I can't tell you about that here, though. The man is Ringaard. The right hand man, you could say, of the king, Galbatorix. He came from Kuasta, and is a selfish man. I suspect he only serves the king for his own glory. I suspect the king keeps him around, because he's easy to manipulate. He's a short tempered man and a fright on the battle field. Rumors also say he can do magic and knows the ancient language. Because I know of what he seeks, I know that this is a dangerous quality. I think it is best, for now, to stay low and out of sight." Liviella said in a low voice, deprived of expression.
********************************
One of the soldiers came up to Ringaard. "Sir, there is now trace of what you seek in this village." The soldier said, flinching, afraid that Ringaard would punish him for this horrible news. Ringaard mastered the impulse.
"Give the order to move out. If any refuse, kill him, or leave him behind." Ringaard directed him. His under leader was nearly as cruel as he was at times. That was why he had chosen him. Without another word, Ringaard directed his horse, and it galloped out of the village. The soldiers did as they were told, leaving behind a partially destroyed village a few burning homes, and 5 dead villagers. They marched on to the next small town to do the same routine.
********************************
"It's safe, now. He didn't find it here. That's what they do at every small village they come to. Making it look like a pillage, or a massacre, and then moving on." Liviella said solemnly. She then turned her attention to the woman and said urgently "If you want to learn more, follow me. I can't tell you here." She went outside, grabbed her horse, and led it to the forest, nearby. About two minutes in, she stopped. She muttered a spell to place around herself, of about five feet. The spell enabled her to talk, without being over heard.

Jaromir glanced over his shoulder and then then saw smoke coming from the distance. He turned his black horse around to face south, towards the town. Jaromir considered just riding on, but then again, it might be worth checking out. He rode forward.
"At first glance, it would appear to be a raid. I'm aware of the rumors concerning the leader, so I know that's not true. He's looking for something. I can't tell you about that here, though. Teresa tried to hid herself the best she could until Ringaard left.
"It's safe, now. He didn't find it here. That's what they do at every small village they come to. Making it look like a pillage, or a massacre, and then moving on." Liviella said solemnly. Teresa followed the woman into the forest. Later, the woman put a spell on herself of about five feet, Teresa had seen this spell before, many times. When the woman was done, Teresa asked, "How do you know so much about Ringaard?"
((I was thinking maybe he could end up battling Ringuards men a little, then retreating into the forest wounded, and he lose4s them, then runs into your chars?))
