God obvioiusly thinks we can be and directs us to be perfect according to His word.
God requires that we strive for perfection. Run the good race. Maybe what is perfection in man's eyes is not the same in God's eyes. No doubt, we must live according to the bible. Jesus is our example. I would say, eventually, yes.
