prayer for OCD

I really need prayer for my OCD. I cant handle it. I cant live like this.

I'm not sure how serious your condition is. I know that God sometimes heals people instantaneously, but many times it is a gradual process in order to develop our character, perserverence, etc. Of course, the way to begin is to go to God in prayer and ask him to heal you so that you can better serve him. Then ask him for wisdom regarding what he wants you to do. You may try taking one obsession at a time and ask yourself what exactly you are afraid of/ worried about and ask God to show you the truth. For example: "Am I really going to get a staph infection if I don't wash my hands 10 times in a row? No, one really good handwash is probably enough." When you feel the obsession, quote scripture or pray. Then refrain from carrying out the compulsion associated with that fear and do it over and over until the Lord give you victory. You may need someone to help you with this (maybe even a professional depending on how serious your condition is). It is probably best to only tackle one obsession at a time (I don't know how many you have), so that you don't get overwhelmed, unless the Lord just decides to heal you immediately or really quickly, which is always possible. Anyway...I hope this helps some. If not, God is THE source of ALL wisdom! I will pray for your healing, though!

You are not the author of OCD and we pray for transformation and renewing of jescrawf's mind and for every thought to be taken captive in the name of Jesus releasing her totally from this.
