How is a person saved?

Through Faith you are saved, this is a gift from God, not of works lest any man should boast. Show me your faith and I will show you my faith by my works.

After we are saved we should want to work for God but if we are working for God in an attempt to be saved we can never do enough. Many men work for thier salvation but only through faith first, which cleanses us from sin, will those works be accepted by our sinless God.

You become saved though faith but faith is shown by your works or acts.

I work through faith but I have no faith in work

Jesus' answer:
“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. ... He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it."

My works do not save me - I am saved by faith, alone - but if my faith is "true" and not "feigned" it will result in good works.

I must "work out my salvation" - to wit: show my salvation by the resulting works of righteousness that are nothing more than the normal activities of my "new" nature.

There should be an option for those of us who do not believe in the concept of attaining "salvation" as a pre-requisite to following a spiritual path.
