“Why am I searching so often? Why do I go away again then come back?” What is happening?

. I am drawing you to be reconciled to me:

I am drawing you to me. I made a way where there was no way for you to come to me that there should be peace between us.
The wages of sin are death but my gift is eternal life to those that believe.
. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.

I looked and saw there was no one, not one who was righteous and the heart of man was desperately wicked. There was no one who could pay the price of peace with me but I made a way.
I gave my son because I am love and have compassion and am not willing that you should perish. I am slow to anger and quick to bless and I turn no one away who will come to me. I have been patient and willing you to come to me.

My only begotten son went to the cross of shame and gave his life a ransom for you. I laid the wages of sin on him and I was in him reconciling the world to myself.

I am calling you to come to me through faith in Jesus Christ. Believe my word and come to me that you may receive life.
There is an urgency,

My spirit will not always strive with man..

I donot know if things were simpler once, at Church meetings , fellowship and 7 day week christian life. It just seems it was.

Even though I was an adult yet there was this love of the clear word , it wasnot necessary to carry a huge dictionary as well as your Bible.
I donot want everything gift wrapped I just want it plain to see. (am I venting Lord?)
The clearer the better.
Imagine a class of 40 people of differing ages.
If the teacher speaks clearly surely all the pupils will understand. If he uses complicated words won't he fail to reach some?
I only ask because somethings taught are more confusing after the teaching than before it!

Is plain speaking, seen as only for the very young?

You will be no more surprised than I was to hear some of the answers to questions and prayers that came my way, from youth to rocking chair and still do.:

Q."Father I donot understand why I am so unhappy but I need to know and I cannot move forward til I do!"

Walking along the road with head rather toward the ground, I looked up and saw I was passing a church.
A.There on the wall was a wayside message:
If God Seems Far Away Make No Mistake About Who Moved"

Q.Do we have to work hard to apply God's word?
A. "consider this" "A pot of paint in one hand, a brush in the other."

"The paint the word of God the brush the Holy Spirit, as the brush applies the paint, So the Holy Spirit applies the Word"
(We were decorating and the paint and brush were at hand)

Wanting to be in His service.
Q. "What today Lord"
A. "Housework" Okay!

There were the singers and I loved that area .
One day after a period of time without singing at the church I said,
"Lord I want to sing for you"
A. "Sing for me in your home"

"BUT LORD!" ............
He searched me, he searched my motive..

I do find that I am questioning the value of complicated teachings and if they are in any way thought to be signs of maturity. What profits the hearer?

No axe to grind, just a head that aches sometimes and longs for clarity,
clear instruction. Amen

Off to the kitchen.. a great place.. tra la la lalala..(as unto the Lord!)

Under New Management:

The title is something I love to see on premises. I passed one while driving and another when walking down the street.

A shop that was used as a video store had been sold and was under new management. No longer was it going to be for it's former use but had a new owner who had plans for it's future use.

Oh! how I long to wear such a banner and why not?

I was bought with a price the former things are gone and all things have became new, no longer under an old master but now redeemed and renewed unto God and He is overseeing the transformation according to his plan.
So, seeing the old shop already purchased in the hand of a new owner, set for a different purpose according to his plan, who wouldnot stop by later to see the progress?

The first view of the store was the notice: The second that it was being gutted out before they could start a new work.
It was a pleasure to pass by and see the work progressing.

Arenot you glad your under new management?
Do you know God is working according to His plan and the pattern He purposed from the very begining of the creation of this world?

Sometimes I have felt "gutted" but the old has to be removed to make way for the new.

Flying the flag and Raising the Standard

One day after time aside for prayer I was shown a view of a small church.

On it's roof was a flagpole with a flag flying at half-mast.

At the palace we have a resident monnarch, we know the monarch is in residence because the Flag has been raised on the flagpole

to the high position.

When the standard is lifted high then the people see the King is in residence.

God's word is the standard he has set for us to live by.

Raise the Standard..

Hello,

We were on holiday recently. We don't usually stay in the busy part of a resort but on the fringe. This time we were booked in a hotel right in the centre of the town.

It turned out to be one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. Friends we made on a previous break were there and some of their friends we had not met before.

The hotel staff were amazing, really!
There were a number of people who wanted to change from the room they were allocated. "That is not a problem, the rooms are being cleaned but come back at 1pm and we will have a room for you"

The whole atmosphere was of the staff being so obliging and it really made a difference to our stay there. We were all happy to have chosen that hotel.
A good name would be; The Smile Awhile, Rest Awhile and Be Blessed a while Hotel"

At a market, while hubby was ordering a roll and tea, a lady offered us a seat next to them. We chatted and finally exchanged email addresses and have been in contact on msn. Her comment was "I think we were meant to meet"

"Sir" as hubby is affectionately called by a dear friend, was getting the cases for the bus to the airport, as I walked by the pool I noticed a lady sitting by herself and asked if I could join her until the bus came. She chatted and after a short while we parted with a hug. God bless that lady wherever she is.

At the airport we were informed that the flight was delayed for about 2 hours, that 2 hours stretched to over 6 hours until 1.15am.

We wandered to an area away from the boarding gate and sat in a quieter section of the airport. There were a few people resting there. One couple sat beside us and the lady and I shared general chat about the delay and where we were from. During that chat she began to open up and tell me about herself. A lovely Christian lady was sharing with me. She made me smile at some of the things she said.

While already working in the area where she lived in co-operation with other christians her minister had approached her about helping in the Alpha course "Oh I donot think I could do that" but the minister suggested that she try it. God bless a minister that encourages us forward. Quite casually in the telling the lady added " I did help and now I help to run the Alpha Course"

Dosnot it make you want to jump for joy, my heart just glowed at her resistance turned to doing even more than she thought herself capable of.

Dear Minister if by some way of God you read this thank you for encouraging someone to try, I am sure you knew full well God was in it. I glowed hearing it!

Plateau: a tract of level a region of indefinite extent..

Extent: space or degree to which a thing is extended.

"Look where you are going"

Somewhere in some time I sat on a mountain ledge for rest and catch my breath.

I stayed longer than I intended. Onward and upward then..

Hello... Warm greeting to you in Jesus name.

I have come here for a very special reason.. to say a ..HUGE ..thank you to all who teach ,who share, who set a table.

I have sat at and been fed at many of them over the years.

I had been pondering on how long I had been a housewife.. over 45 years of housework and setting a table! How easy it is to take that for granted .

We eat we leave the table satisfied and yet I have not always said "Thank you"

So I am saying it with all my heart..

You glean and you prepare the food we need spiritually and if at times you are not thanked by encouragement I ask your forgiveness for not saying so or letting you know how much you are appreciated.

Like Jesus you take from the source, you bring from God as the Holy Spirit brings of God and shares it with you. Be blessed above all you could ask or think, be blessed of God this day and be strong in the Lord for your work.

He also has set a table before us in the presence of our enemies and we are satisfied at His table, we are well provided for at His table. We say Thank you Lord.

Thank you for your gleaning and the meal you made from it that you shared with us, your labour was not in vain. Thank you.
