Oooo, how'd it go?

"Thus abundantly hath the Church of England vindicated her reformation from all pretence of apostasy from the true, ancient Catholic and Apostolic Church...No new Church was set up; no new articles of faith brought in; no new Sacraments; no new order of Priesthood to minister in holy things... only the old were purged from impurities in doctrine, worship and practice. If we were the Catholic Church before, we are still so, and to better purpose." William Cave, The Unity of the Catholic Church maintained in the Church of England
May God annoint your mind, heart, hands and voice to His Glory!

Thank you, Michael!

It went well! It was a full house, with all the rainbows, brownies, guides, beavers, cubs and scouts plus their parents and the usual congregation. I did an interactive talk with food props, a 3-minute video and smarties candies as well, which seemed to work. The music group was on fine form, and it was my daughter's first time playing with them since she joined, with her flute.
The remainder of Sunday was spent down at the field belonging to DH's cousin, where he grows willow. He needed to call out the whole family to help him strip the willow as he has a large order for some big garden centres (curly decorative willow). It was a lovely day, so much fresh air!
There doesn't seem to be a newbie thread here, so hi! I am often found in ale houses so it seems appropriate.
I'm a very traditional Anglo-Catholic, while also being a pretty liberal kind of person. And I sing. A lot.

Hello, BasinBrat!
This is an acceptable place to introduce yourself, though only a handful of Anglicans actually look at this particular thread, for some reason. More of them read and reply in the threads below. Please feel free and welcome to post in any of the ongoing threads there, or start your own thread - either introducing yourself, or on any topic you wish to discuss with other Anglicans. This is also the home for 'Old Catholics', so you'll see some of them floating about, too.
Stick around! Sometimes it is slow here, but other times it is lively!
