Of late, I haven't been able to run anywhere near as much as I'd like - I'm *such* a wuss about running when it's under 45 degrees or so.

Reps: 17 (power: 0) | | | I wish I could use Stephen's "I love to run" quote honestly, but it would be a bold faced lie. As much as I want to love to run... I SO dislike it!
I weight train, practice yoga and Pilates, rollerblade, and spend lots of time doing physical activity, but I haven't found the appeal to running. (Occasionally, I'll sprint train, but I only go kicking and screaming.)
If anyone has tips on how to catch runners fever and become addicited, please let me know. I'm sure it would be a great addition to my training... if I could ever learn to like it. |

Then again, I may not. |

the most common problem with people starting running is that they do too much too soon...and get demotivated or injured. building up from run/walk sessions is the way to go, you'll see improvements and give your bones/joints/muscles time to strengthen to the impact of running
i think they have some good beginners schedules at www.runnersworld.co.uk
