73. A bit lower than I anticipated, but the answers we got to choose from were not overly detailed, so it's possible that the quiz determined that I meant something by an answer that I really didn't, and vice versa.

I got an 88, but more so I found the quiz to be exceedingly US Evangelical leaning. In many ways, it tells more about the authors theological views than a measure of conservative or progressive hermenuetics. Many of the questions I wanted to answer a 1 or a 5 to, but 3 was clearly out in out of the ball park. It might be interesting to spin a few quizes out of it based upon underlying theological views.
That being said, if one is a US Evangelical, I think it would be a cool quiz.
__________________ To those that are cast down on account of their sins Christ must be introduced as a Savior and Gift, and not as an example. But to sinners who live in a false assurance, Christ must be introduced as an example. The hard sayings of Scripture and the awful judgments of God upon sin must be impressed upon them. Defy Satan in times of despair. Say: "O cursed Satan, you choose a nice time to talk to me about doing and working when you know very well that I am in trouble over my sins. I will not listen to you. I will listen to Christ, who says that He came into the world to save sinners. This is the true Christ and there is none other. I can find plenty of examples for a holy life in Abraham, Isaiah, John the Baptist, Paul, and other saints. But they cannot forgive my sins. They cannot save me. They cannot procure for me everlasting life. Therefore I will not have you for my teacher, O Satan."

There is no valid hermeneutics , the bible explains itself clearly if you study it all, the holy spirit verifies all truth [John 16:13] from God Himself , no teaching needed for those who follow Jesus , the saints , because God teaches them Himself ,according to the new covenant[Heb 8:8-12] ... sainst may teach sinners, but there is no basis for sinners to teach ... fortunately we have the words of saints in scripture, unfortunately few listen to scripture, most listen to sinners preaching... hence divided religion of men...different from scripture and 'justified' by spin, hermeneutics ...
2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
So does one believe Peter here, or sinners that preach a myriad stories that are all supposed to be one truth of God ?
