and my personal favorite from that concert:

Unfortunately, the video cuts about 2 minutes from the beginning of this clip that leads up to the song... speaking of how people didn't recognize who Jesus was/is..

btw.. if you do a search for the full song, the title of it is "People get ready"

Just feel the need to be with my Lord right now in prayer. Don't know of any adoration Chapels that are 24/7 in my area right now that I can go to. So I will come here and sit a tad in your pews for Adoration.

Prayer request

I have been without any patience for anything that is not Catholic. I have been staying away from this site and when I do visit I have no patience for Protestants and all their false teachings and ignorance.

This site is so full of lies from the last 500 years and it is just so upsetting for me to visit this site recently. I hate to see all the evil in falsehoods and lies that people see as the truth. I am tired of trying to explain how what they believe is false. But I am tired of not being able to be a beacon of light in these dark and shadowy areas.

Please offer a prayer for God to call more to be Catholic and maybe a little prayer for me to find more charity here.

Thanks and God Bless you all.

I feel you brother, I've experienced the same thing. Our role is only seed sower and not savior. The water for that seed is love. Then the Son shines the Holy Spirit and if the ground is fertile it will take root.

Try and look at you impatience as if you were wishing a tree to grow faster.

And in all cases leave the fray of pruning before your burned out and loose peace over it. Mercy is the key.

Blood and water which gushed forth from the side of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us I Trust in You.

What we suffer for the sake of the Lord makes up for what is lacking in us.

Peace bro and prayers for you.

Just quietly coming in to sit in silence with the Lord for a few min. Feeling the need to tell Jesus how much I love and adore him.

I am glad I came here today, especially to spend some time here in the Chapel. I need this today.

It also gave me a chance to read Jack's post.
Jack, I felt exactly like you for a very long time. In fact, I would run as fast as I could to the various debate forums on the internet, (the all Catholic ones bored me because they were fighting amongst each other...wierd!) I always felt churned up in my belly wanting to be a "real soldier for Christ" to fulfil my Confirmation.
I believed what I was doing was Catholic Apologetics and evanglizing the Catholic Church.

One day in prayer, somehow I heard the Lord's voice. He sent me to scripture and told me very clearly and loudly. "I never commanded you to judge anyone, I commanded you to love them." I realized what I was doing was not loving them..
Like I said, he sent me to scripture and it was almost like he guided me where he wanted me to go. I read I Corrinthians CH. 13, also from the Gospel of John on Jesus prayer for Unity. I realized Jesus wasn't asking that He create that unity but asking The Father to do it. That was really an eye opener. It tells me we should pray for it and then NOT GET IN GOD'S WAY! It is very possible we get in God's way by arguing and not showing Love.

The chapter in I Corrinthians tells me that Love is indeed a decision. The feelings we get are a result of us making a decision to love. This is the kind of love we must decide to act on and especially with our separated brothers and sisters because they too, are the Body of Christ. THAT, is Catholic teaching.

Once I came to this point and it wasn't an easy thing, I truly started experiencing the feelings that we associate with loving. It also brought me into a deeper love experience with the Lord. That was a suprise but I think it comes with obeying HIM more than anything.

This is what this Forum is all about, you know.

We welcome all Christians here. We do not debate but we allow respectful discussion.
I am praying we are allowing the Lord to do the work. Being obedient and not judging, just loving one another.

I think it feels really good and so do most of the folks who come here.
