A "Conference" morris, swift, baugh, hovind

We are excited to announce our first ever Southeast Creation Conference
to be held at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church and Dinosaur Adventure Land
(DAL) September 17-19, 2004 in Pensacola, Florida. Mark your calendar
now and don't miss it!

Keynote speakers include Dr. John Morris of ICR, Dr. Dennis Swift,
America's foremost expert on the ICA stones and Dr. Carl Baugh of the
Creation Evidence Museum as well as others presenting exciting workshops.
Your registration fee will cover: admission to every session, lunch at
DAL including a tour of our amazing science center, museum and theme
park, audio cassettes of all 16 sessions in a beautiful case (one per
family), and enough information to change your life for ever! Cost is:
$50 - single, $75 - couple, $125 for a family of three more.

Many ministries will be represented at the conference and hundreds of
great books, videos and other creation materials will be available. We
are excited about the need creation ministries are filling in the 21st
century.

If you would like to plan an extended stay, Pensacola is famous for its
beaches, the Naval Air Museum (free admission) and, of course, Dinosaur
Adventure Land! Bring a video camera and get some ideas to start a

MY dad and my Uncle have went to hear this man speak before. This may surprise you but my dad has Kent Hovinds autograph, he sees him as a Christian hero.

I cannot believe that Morris and Hovind would be speaking at the same conference. Weird.

Unfortunately, Hovind is a very good speaker. Many people hold him in high regard so your father is not alone in that respect. However, not too many scientists do ...

It doesn't really suprise me, it saddens me, but it doesn't surprise me.

Hovind is a people person, he may be a horrible scientist, but he is a great politician, as he has great carisma, and must seem amazing to those that dont understand what he is talking about.

Its one of the big reasons why Hovind refuses to debate unless its a verbal debate in public, as that is what he is an expert at.

--I don't put Morris in exceptional regard, but I was also quite surprized to hear that he and Hovind of all people would be speaking at the same conference. I presume that it is merely for any creationist organization and that the 'conference' doesn't have any more specific criteria than that. At least I hope not, otherwise we creationists are in worse condition that I thought.
