Nothing we know about the universe requires a god, of course you can always use god to answer the questions we do not yet have answers for.

God of the gaps.

Think of it this way: The only reason you believe this religious nonsense is because you have been indoctrinated by people who always answer difficult or unanswerable questions with the quote

God done it

Or something to that effect.

We know that chairs have to be designed. We don't know if universes need to be designed.

If you were to find a chair on the Moon, that would indeed be a remarkable piece of evidence.

Call me when you find it.

If I was lucky enough to go to the moon and then lucky enough to find a chair, I would conceder myself most fortunate that I could sit to enjoy the views; none of which require a mystical deity in their creation.
