Please note that this may not be exactly the same Statement of Faith for all IFB churches, but they are basically the same in their "fundamental" doctrines...i.e. God, Bible, Trinity, Satan, etc.
Here is the link to the site: http://http://www.standfastinthefaith.com/

I read both the references in this sticky, plus the 'anabaptists' sticky; but
neither gave an explanation of: 121 Community Church, a Southern Baptist-related congregation in Grapevine, Texas".
Would you people, who are baptist (I am not, but rather a spirit-filled, non-denominational christian) - please
explain how the 121 Community church does their thing...
Yes, I have their website bookmarked: One:Twenty One Community Church | 121 Mission Philosophy; but
not many details there, on how they might differ, from what I & others might believe.
Thank you! in advance for any insight you can share, & in-Christ richly-Blessed live...

They are one of the many thousands of community churches in the USA/world.

Might someone else answer? Thanks!

Reps: 187,207,274,281,724,320 (power: 187,207,274,281,731) | | They are SBC related and located in Grapevine, TX...here's a link to a baptist press article about their worship leader being an American Idol contestant: Baptist Press - Worship leader's next round on 'American Idol' airs this week - News with a Christian Perspective
Seems if they are talked about in Baptist Press...it's a Baptist church of some sort eh?
Here's a link to the SBC's Baptist Faith & Message (statement of faith for the SBC)....this will tell you all about what us southern baptists hold dear and true in our faith: http://www.sbc.net/bfm/
Straight from the SBC website.
121CC may or may not have adopted the BF&M as their official church statement of faith or it may or may not be in addition to their own SoF.
There isn't much info on their website about them. Good luck finding someone here directly from Grapevine, TX who's visited there.
Hope this helps.

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | Structure instead unity I feel weird about the whole conventions, associations, confessions etc that are worth nothing if there is lacking the main basic thing: a real unity of the assembly that is only one in a locality. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
