I never thought about that is this particular light. Wow. I had a similar experience when I first committed myself to truly serving Christ. I stopped going to church. I knew God was leading me to stop going to this church and i was confused because I didn't feel led to go anywhere else.. It was a decent church but it was Southern Baptist. Anyway, in the following months I was completely consumed with God's Word and prayer, but did not set foot in a church. I was constantly searching the scriptures to understand who Jesus Christ truly was. I had to know the truth. Nearing the end of that time, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues -something I didn't know still existed. But more than that, I came to know Christ intimately without doctrinal intermediaries. It was an amazing time in my life.
