If you haven't been before, here's a little history: The ISWW is a three-day event which was started in 1976, and is now in its 33rd year. The ISWW takes place every March at Expo Square (Tulsa Fair Grounds), in Tulsa Oklahoma. Attendees come from all 50 states and 25 foreign countries. The attendees are dedicated Christians, mission-minded churches, and evangelistic individuals who are looking for ideas to grow their churches and ministries and spread the good news of Jesus Christ. This is a free, indoor event and is open to the public. There will be over thirty different speakers in sessions throughout each day, with nationally known speakers presenting every evening. Attendance ranges anywhere from 8,000 - 10,000 attendees each year. The ISWW includes over 300 Exhibitors from around the nation and world. The exhibit booth area promotes missions and equipment used for outreach including bookstores, missionaries, singing groups, universities, children’s homes, Christian T-shirts and jewelry, educational supplies and curriculum, etc.
Over the years, the workshop has come to be thought of as a giant family reunion. We come from different places, representing congregations with different worship styles and ministry strategies. Yet for three days at the end of March, we come together as one. When it’s all said and done, we go back to our home congregations with a stronger faith, a deeper commitment to the way of Christ, and a greater appreciation of what God is doing in and through his people throughout the world.
We would love for you to join us as an exhibitor or attendee at this year’s ISWW. The 2008 ISWW will be March 27-29. The theme for this year’s workshop is “Prayer: Our Declaration of Dependence”. Our website www.tulsaisww.com will be updated as we draw closer to March for your convenience. Anyone from CF planning on going this year?

Anyone from CF planning on going this year? Wish we could - sounds like a great seminar. We used to have one every year up in Rocky Mtn National park - just a great time of challenge and encouragement and learning - oh, and awesome fellowship too! Btw - glad to have ya "back" on this forum. Hoping we can all make it a similarly encouraging place. God bless bro!

Many good memories, a few bad (they tried to scare us about rock & roll music one year - I couldn't sleep for two nights, then figured out the whole thing was silly).
My brother might be going. He lives in Owasso... |

Depends on your point of view.
I don't think so.
