hi to everyone. i'm 28 yrs old and about to get married next month. been an adventist since birth but like i said in my other post, hasn't really lived a christian like life. i was rebaptized last week. i appreciate life and feel God's love now more than ever.
Hello. I hope that you enjoy it here and although things can get complicated here I hope that it will be of great benefit to you as it was to me.
I have been here before, but it has been quite a long time. I stopped posting because we had a death in the family, and I had back surgery, plus a job change recently.
I am new to being a SDA. I was watching TV and found John Carter and then Doug Batchelor on 3ABN. I knew what they were teaching was the truth. I remember checking everything with the Bible. I couldn't understand why I never heard this material in the Lutheran Church in which I was raised. I read several Ellen White books, watched more SDA preachers, and I couldn't believe how the Bible actually came alive for me. Why hadn't I heard this stuff before?
Anyway, after about a year I joined a local SDA Church and was baptized in the Missouri River along with my daughter. To me it is very exciting to be a part of this church. I am still learning so much all the time.
We have two children, we live on a farm in central SD.
I work part time as a nurse; and help on the farm some. It's a great place to raise children. It's even better knowing that I am teaching them truth.

I enjoyed reading that. My hope is that you continue to grow in the fear of the Lord. We here are a warm people. Mainly because we are warm blooded. But i think you will enjoy it here.
Come to think of it I have never introduced myself here and it has been months since I joined CF. But i have nothing interesting to say anyway. I've been here a while so some people already know my name. Its been months overdue but let me just say something about me. My name is Rhondel. I am 19 years old. I grew up an Adventist. I live in Grenada in the Caribbean. I am currently attending a local university to earn a bachelors degree in Information Technology. Those are just a few things about me. Take care everyone.

As I came into this church in 1976, I am also a first generation Seventh-day Adventist.

I have been a sinner since birth. I have spent my life wasting the time God has given me on various hell bound projects. I have done little to advance the cause of Christ and for that I should pay with my life. God's law and precepts are perfect and just. EGW was a fantastic messenger for the Father in Heaven. I ask God to have mercy on me and change my heart and sole into that of Enoch. I pray that my choices will reflect the love that God has bestowed upon me. May God continue to bless us as He has so often in the past.
