Pah! They're hitting the satellite at 150 miles altitude. Nothing orbits that low. The Chinese destroyed a satellite at 537 miles altitude.

I don't like the idea of a spy satellite in our air space but equally concerned about shooting down a satellite with a full tank of fuel that could "disperse potentially deadly fumes over an area the size of two football fields", as the article indicates. Pretty scary stuff.
