Prayer Chain

We have a rant thread and a fellowship/dinner thread, so I was wondering if we could start a prayer chain?

If so, I have a request I would like to post.

Last night I learned that a dear childhood friend was in a terrible car accident and may have severe neurological damage. His name is Rick, he is married with a couple of kids (teens) and is a very sweet guy. I've known him most of my life.

I am currently (started Sunday, ends Wednesday) speaking at revival meetings at a sister church (about 45 minutes away). Pray that God will speak clearly to His people, and revive and renew them as individuals and as a community of faith.

Please pray for my friend Mary. Her husband is verbally abusive each Sunday when Mary and her child returns from church.

I think this is a great idea for a thread too. I'm glad someone started one here!
