Hello, all! I would like to ask for prayers for myself - I am scheduled for a hysterectomy on Tuesday, May 9th. I'm a little nervous, but I've been praying for peace, and God has answered! I really appreciate your prayers - thank you!

Please pray for our Pastor's wife, and for our Church Treasurer. Both women have announced that they will be starting Chemo soon. The Treasurer's cancer was just discovered, and is already Stage 3.

Morgaine, I hope you are still feeling well! That particular surgery is hard on your body and your emotions (who'd a thunk it). Praying for healing for you.
Need prayers for peace and comfort. After 7 years of homeschooling, hubby and I have decided to place our kids in public school. The schools around us are excellent and we know many of the teachers, so I feel comfortable with this decision. This was a difficult decision to make, but we feel that God is leading us in this direction.
The kids have a solid foundation in Christ, but we all know what affects other kids can have through peer pressure. My prayer is that my kids cling to the cross when their friends (new and/or old) try to pressure them into something they know is not right, and that they are a strong witness for Christ.
I feel my request is selfish. I've had my babies (not babies anymore) around me all their lives, and I am going to be totally lost during the day without them around.
I observed, "Love is the fulfilling of the law, the end of the commandment." It is not only "the first and great" command, but all the commandments in one. "Whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, if there be any virtue, if there be any praise," they are all comprised in this one word, love.

Please pray for my Cousin's family. Her son passed away last week. Also remember my Father's former co-workers family. He passed passed away on Friday evening. God bless!
