Is this a cite wide ruling and if so when did it come to pass, because we have had a pre-approved list of folks for quite some time now and this is the first I have heard that it is "not allowed"... clarification on this point please.

I looked at the proposed text, and while it has some very good points, it gets a bit muddy in places. Please keep in mind that we are trying to provide a clear framework for what is not acceptable. That said, what is not prohibited is discussable.
So, I reformatted the draft so it conforms to the FSG model. I put the Trinity prohibition into the debate guidelines. I put the "other members" information under Special Issues.
And I removed the part about allowing Rabbinic and Talmudic discussion because rather than saying "this is allowable" I'd rather keep it clear what is NOT allowable. If this is a point of confusion in this forum that really needs to be clarified in the FSGs, we can add it back in. But I'd like to see what you think without it first.
Does this capture your intent, and is clear? Does it address the needs and common issues of your forum, with regards to who is and is not allowed to debate, and what are not acceptable topics of discussion?
The Congregation-Wide Guidelines apply to this forum. They outline the basic membership and debate guidelines for this forum. Additional guidelines are explained below.
Additional guidelines on debate :
The topic of a debate cannot be against the Messianic forum’s Statement of Faith.
MJs are Jews who have embraced Yeshua as the Messiah and still keep their Jewish Identity and style of Worship intact. They are redeemed and set free by the blood of Yeshua, as are all believers.
Messianic believers are identifiable by four main attributes:
Belief that Yeshua is The Prophesied Messiah of Israel (and The Redeemer of the whole Earth)
Shabbat Observance
Kosher Lifestyle
Celebration of the Biblical Festivals
Special Issues:
Christian Jews and Gentiles may post as members of this forum if their lives are integrated with these things above. That is, they maintain a strong Hebraic relationship with the membership here, they strive to follow the four points above or highly respect those who do.
Jews or Noahides may post as members of this forum, but they may not post against missionary activity or proselytization.
__________________ Many people think that the question should be: have you made Jesus your Lord? Have you invited him unreservedly into your heart? Have you completely dedicated every part of yourself and your life to him?
The trouble is that when we are truthful, the answer must always be "No." So let's ask the question a different way.
Has Jesus given everything for you? Has he dedicated his whole life to you? Has he invited you into his heart? And the answer to that is a glorious and gracious and conscious, freeing, comforting YES!

The Congregation-Wide Guidelines apply to this forum. They outline the basic membership and debate guidelines for this forum. Additional guidelines are explained below.
Additional guidelines on debate: none
Special Issues:
Membership: Rather than abiding by a Statement of Faith to determine membership, the following people are allowed to post freely in this forum. Others may post in fellowship.
Messianics,
Jews
a list of approved Christians (Christians who have an undeniable love for the Jewish people and or are Jewish themselves and agree not to come here to cause division or dissension ) *note: I could not find this list. The link goes to a poll thread*
Prohibited Topics: You may not teach or discuss against:
The Messiahship of Yeshua
Trinity
Torah observance
Sabbath observance
Kosher observance
Keeping of Holy Days in the bible
Other prohibited topics:
No Anti Semitic /Anti Zionist posts ( this would include Holocaust denial)
No Replacement theology
Special Issues:
MJ believers revere the Name of G-d and in doing so you may find some showing this reverence by spelling G-d without the 'o'. G-d is also referred to by 'The Name'. We also call the son of G-d Yeshua, as it is his given Hebrew name and means Salvation. We do not expect our visitors to post in this manner but to be respectful of those who do, and not make derogatory remarks against those that do so.
also what about post 42?

Combining the SoF with the restricted topics, we get this:

based on some of the comments lately I have a new suggested approach to this SOF/FSGs here, tell me what you think....
The Messianic Forum Statement of Faith: Yeshua is Messiah!
Messianics are Jews and Gentiles who have embraced Yeshua as the Messiah of Israel (Redeemer of the World).
Messianics incorporate, affirm, and preserve their Jewish Identity, Jewish customs, and Jewish style of worship, as they seek to be a light to the Jew first, then to the Nations .
Messianic believers (Jew and Gentile) are identifiable by four main attributes:
Belief that Yeshua is The Prophesied Messiah of Israel
Shabbat Observance
Kosher Lifestyle
Celebration of the Biblical Festivals
Messianic Forum Specific Guidelines:
The Congregation-Wide Guidelines apply to this forum. They outline the basic membership and debate guidelines for this forum. Additional guidelines are explained below.
Additional guidelines on debate:
The topic of a debate cannot be against the Messianic forum’s Statement of Faith.
No Anti Semitic /Anti Zionist posts ( this would include Holocaust denial) allowed.
No Debate against the Messiahship of Yeshua is allowed.
No Anti /Counter Missionary Posts or proselytizing is allowed.
Special Issues:
Special permission is given to those who do not call themselves Messianic but who practice any of these basic beliefs listed in the Messianic SOF... For these individuals it is ok to offer more than fellowship style posts in regards to the various studies and discussions being done in this forum, so long as they are careful to respect the additional guidelines on debate stated above. All other CF members though, shall be restricted to fellowship only style posts.
ok how does that sound?
This way we keep MJ membership MJ exclusive and this way but we do not block fellowship to either our Church friends who practise MJ or to our Jewish friends who have the same/similar practises...sound good guys?
