But's that's only useful if the Creationist is willing to correct their mistakes. And we've seen far too many go diving into a sea of debate wearing Hovind and Chick around their necks like an anchor.
Oh, sure we have. The point is that those particular arguments are so pathetic and such caricatures that just about anybody could refute them. People who come armed with stuff from sites that purport to be reporting actual science, or some of the ID sites that are suffed with genuine PhDs, are a lot harder to deal with. A person can always hope that when creationists come here spouting DinoChick at us and meet with much stiffer resistance than they were expecting, at least a few of them night stop and think about the worth of those tracts they were relying on.
The other thing is that if they take those ridiculous tracts with them when they go trying to convert people, they're going to look really, really stupid if those people have any sense or any education. Those tracts are only going to put people off if the people have any sort of minds.
