-Problems in church history (trouble with canonization and Nicene Creed, ruthlessness of church leaders and popes, difficulty in tracing a lineage from the primitive Jerusalem church to Paul's church that survives today, etc.)
-Christian ruthlessness in the name of their god (the Crusades, the Inquisitions, Hitler, etc.)
Note: trying to turn this around on a non-theist
because not all non-theists hold the same morals. Christians are given their morals, and, as a group, these are generally more uniform.
I would agree with the previous post, as well, though I would say both "not enough evidence for a god" and "not enough evidence for your god being the only and right one". |
