Faith vs. medicine

Also medicine and doctors can lead itself to natrual remidies. I see doctors but on a personnal note find many useless and go to natural alternative, but I think like some one said these peopoe who have trained to help can be gods way of healing us so why refuse?

I put not sure because I have never really thought about it. But if you think about it. God gave the doctors, the talent and skill to be able to help us. So you are trusting in God if you go to the doctor

God gives special skills to people for a reason

I do trust in God, but God also gave people skills to cure others by medicines or therapy. I do not think one excludes the other, but that they are going hand in hand and that God sometimes uses medicines and doctors, and other times He provides the miracle all in once. In fact, miracles are not contrary to the laws in His creation, only proceeded faster. Especially when it comes to healing.
Dividing men in spirit and body is a greek way of thinking and stems from philosophers. Saying the spirit is more important than the body or that the mind is everything and the body is just material, that is gnostic rather than biblical. When you look at the Bible in the Old and the New Testament, you can see that God values the body in a greater way than we usually do. And where does it say that ANGELS are te ones who privide physical healing?

Just some thoughts.

In my opinion god gifted us with the moast powerful thing humanity could ever hope to posses , the mind , sice it is the governing foce behind our bodys being like a smaller god in itself then there is nolimit to what it can do when it has the thought and the belife behind it.

doctors are there to ease the pain.

Oh wouldn't it be wonderful if we lived in a perfect world full of instant miracles! But we live as a fallen race in a fallen world. I rarely do go to doctors, but some years ago I had a horrible horse accident that came close to ending my life. It was the will of God that I live and He used doctors and surgeries and medicine to help repair the damage. The healing I give credit and praise to God. I was months in the hospital and 2 years as a comeback--not instantaneousness you see. The recovery was arduous, but what valuable lessons I learned about life's priorities and trusting God alone with day-by-day challenges.

i really dunno...but id go to God first...cause he's perfect, compared to the Cough medicine im taking, as well as everything else PTL

I believe you put your Trust in God He will heal you. But God gaves us doctors so He can perform thru them to heal us. I believe that. I do go to the doctors myself.
