Hello, I've not been here before, but I ask for prayers of healing for my brother Michael. He is afraid he has throat cancer....he's a very complicated man, very much alone in the world, and is also afraid to go to the doctor. He lives in a different state from me, so unfortunately I can't visit him, though we did visit in December for a couple of days. I write to him every fortnight, and I love him very much. He's just turned 63.

Hi Anne thank you for coming to Healing Ministry and welcome.. I can tell from reading your post you really love your brother.. I can feel that love through the way you write and that you came here..
In my own family recent illnesses that we cannot understand suddenly have sprung up but it has amazingly turned hearts to the Lord.. so although we wish these things never come.. if our loved ones hearts are softened to the Lord and the comfort only He can bring.. Praise God for that..
I will pray against the fear.. it is very real and would make things worse..
That he finds faith in God and comfort in any lonliness in the world.. isolation is terrible.. Praise God when we know the Lord we realise we are never ever alone.. and can find hope..

My mother heard from a brother that she hasn't had contact with much over the last twenty years.. She didn't even really know where he lived!! God is moving in his heart..
Dear Father God thank You so much that You love this man Michael!! And You have a great plan for his life.. thank You that he has such a caring sister.. Father I ask for You to heal him and bring him to the saving knowledge of Jesus as Lord and Saviour!! Father that he find purpose and meaning and joy unspeakable.. Father that through this which has happened to him.. Your love reaches down and floods his life and that all fear is gone.. Father thank You for moving in Michaels life and for the love his sister has for him.. Father let that love help him to move closer to You!! Through Jesus name... amen

Amen.....and thank you, thank you, thank you sooooo much. My heart really aches for him....he needs Jesus so much in his life....but he doesn't know where to find Him......he is sooooo confused and afraid. To the outside world it seems he has everything....but inside he's a frightened little boy. If... EVER... I wanted God to touch someone in my life...it's Michael.

Father God thank You that You are moving on Michael's behalf because we have asked you to do so.. Father unseen hands move the right people into his path.. Angels minister to him who will inherit salvation and also Father we know You would leave the 99 to get the one!! Michael is precious in Your sight!! Halleujah.. Comfort his sister and help her to keep praying in faith.. because You are moving and Michael will turn to You at just the right time if we do not give up!! Amen

Thank you all.....I haven't heard from him in a couple of weeks. With my birthday being next week, I expect to hear from him and I hope at least that he's been to the doctor about his throat. He's in his 60s so I don't really have any right to pressure him to do anything, I just love him very much and want him to be well. I'll keep you informed.
