Why do so many people blame a defeated foe?
Now I know there is going to be someone out there who is going to take this way out of context and start hitting every little detail when I am not even trying to go there. I just know that as a believer who knows the Word, we can’t blame Satan every time something goes wrong. Like my mom and my dad for instance, they had millions of dollars, and lived the whole million-dollar lifestyle. Now they live a less than mediocre lifestyle and my dad said the enemy took all of it. Despite that he physically abused my mother, cheated on her, and did plenty of things that was not of God. How come he can’t say I was living a life of sin and I ALLOWED THE ENEMY TO COME IN AND TAKE AWAY WHAT THE LORD GAVE ME??
Or am I crazy to think that? The enemy cant touch us, that was the whole purpose for Jesus Christ our Messiah going down into the pits of hell and fighting for us. He gave us authority over Satan and I know there are some out there who don’t know that. I know there are some who goes through spiritual warfare and who really need help. Trust me exclude those who don’t have the proper understanding or knowledge of how the kingdom of darkness works.
I mean am I wrong to feel this way? |

People do not want to take responsibility for their choices and actions. They believe in a God (and devil) who micro-managed our lives and we are just puppets.
So untrue.
God has His will... but if we don't align ourselves up with His Word and His ways and will.. His will will not come to pass. WE HAVE A PART TO PLAY!
People don't want to believe that because it means they may have to change.

I think that all religion, like the teaching that Jesus died and rose again, is pretty good.

The person I struggle with is me and my sinful nature and poor decisions (not made under the influence of my Spirit leader - instead made by my worthless mind).

I think she means organized religion not the faith of christianity. I pretty much agree with her. Condemnation does not come from faith, but from religion... as does opression.
