Do you have a chess (or checker) board?
I have a choice for you to make. On the first square put one grain of rice. On the second square double that and put two grains of rice. On the third square double that and put four grains of rice. On the fourth square double that again and put eight grains of rice. On the fifth square continue to double the rice and put sixteen grains of rice. Now continue this on all 64 squares of the chess board. IF someone were to give you a choice, would you rather have all the rice that would be on square 64, or would you rather have $100?
If you read the genologys in Matthew & Luke in the Bible, there is a record of 64 generations listed. All the way from Adam to Jesus the Christ. |

Your analogy is flawed because the rice doesn't die. |

If y ou read the geneologies in Matthew and Luke in the Bible, they don't even agree. Pretty hard to take either of them seriously when they can't even get it right!

When it comes to money, are you a borrower or a lender Nathan? It is funny how there seems to be no middle ground, people are usually one or the other. |

One is the genology for the mother of Jesus, the other is the genology for his father. At the time the Hebrews had all the genology records going back to Adam. Paul talks about how they were a source of endless disputes. When the Romans tried to burn down the temple to extract the gold from it, all of the genology records were lost in that fire.
If your ever in orlando flordia, they have a bibleland attraction there, where they have a rather large model of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus. They have done some research and gathered quite a bit of information. |

I did do the math on it once and I know it would require more rice than what is produced in a years time world wide. |

Yes, I know that's the standard answer to avoid the contradiction. There is, however, absolutely no evidence whatsoever that it is the case. In other words, the explanation was invented solely to avoid a contradiction, and is completely without scriptural basis.
