This list needs to stay on the top of these boards. I should ask that it be a sticky.

tubasteve has disabled reputation
has the validity of radioactive dating been discussed at all on this site. i would like to hear what others have to say about that. if the current radioactive dating convensions are poor then that could shine some light on the topic. if the earth isn't as old as is believed then evolution MAY not have been possible. i am only asking for ideas not cheap shots; i have neither stated that i am a yec nor an evolutionist, but i am an interested christian.

You realize of course that there is much more evidence for an old earth than a young one, right?

Especially since the only evidence I've seen for a young earth is a lineage quoted from the Bible which supposes that people lived for upwards of a 1000 years in a time when disease ran rampant, predators did too, we didn't have irrigation, we lived in a desert, and we didn't have half the nutrition available to us today.

Oh yes, 1000 years alright.
