Baptizing my daughter this Sunday!

My little girl Meaghan will be baptized into the Catholic Church this Sunday! I almost can't believe it. Man, when this family makes a decision, we dive right in. My kid's going to become Catholic before I do.

Meaghan will be taking St. Mary's name as her Saint's name because she loves Mary so much. It's strange, but Meaghan (18 months) really seems to know her so we think it's only appropriate. Ove Christmas, she always walked around with Mary from the nativity scene and she excitedly points her out everywhere we see her!

Making the day extra special is that it's the celebration of our Lord's baptism!

Or are we to listen to those who walked with the Lord?

Gal 1:10 Am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still pleasing men, I should not be a servant of Christ.

1Co 5:12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?
1Co 5:13 God judges those outside. "Purge the evil person from among you."

Life by example is a great way to live. Now your child is giving you a great example to follow. Sounds like you are raising her as the Holy Ghost guides you to.

Congrats to you!

That's wonderful! I can't believe Meaghan is 18 months already tho..seems like just yesterday you were telling us ladies in WD that you were pregnant! Congrats, this is a very special time for you and your family...especially little Meaghan.
