Deuteronomy 10:18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
Deuteronomy 15:7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
Matthew 25
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. ...
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
May the merryness of your heart be not seasonal but all year around.
Many people are in need of help. Some of them we know from CF. Please share your blessing. http://cherrypicker.tripod.com/cf_donate.html

I don't give nearly enough. For one, I don't make all that much, but I Still spend a lot of money on food and some money other other entertainments.
I might look at doing this, but I am not sure where the funds are best used.

Jon, Please feel free to share any ideas that you have. It looks like right now that we have two families that could use some help. I am not sure if we are going to help one and then the other or both at the same time. I guess it just depends on the funds available. Thanks to all those that are helping out. Let's all come together and do something good for others. |

| | | | DL, if people do decide to donate some help to the family I've mentioned, I know that gift certificates to Wal-Mart and/or Kroger's would be very helpful to them.
She doesn't have a bank account so I know she doesn't have a PayPal account either.

Sure that can arranged. You will probably have to send it to her.
