The "revealing" of this MAN OF SIN....the DEVIL is transpiring in YOUR EARS right now as you READ the scriptures and RECOGNIZE that you are NOT ALONE in YOUR TEMPLE...your BODY. The 'CHURCH' has been LONG overdue in "recognizing this fact" but this "fact" is starting to ARISE as TRUTH in HIS TEMPLE...via HIS WORD.

the Lamb is not slain from the foundations of the world...those in the Book of Life were written in before the foundations of the world...this is one of many English sentence structure problems though the translated languages.....we know app. when the Lamb was slain(33 ish AD), and we know when the elect were chosen(before the foundations of the world). think "comma"(,) between slain and from.

I have a very problematic time SEPARATING God's offspring, whom ALL of mankind were taught by Paul to be in Acts 17:23-29, from the ELECT, even though we are ALL blinded in part by the presence of INDWELLING SIN.

In this construct of "our temples" I see what Paul was talking about in Romans 9 when he said that in the SAME LUMP there is both a vessel of honor and a vessel of dishonor and wrath.

The vessel(s) of honor are God's offspring, THE ELECT. I do not believe that God is going to be burning His Own offspring in eternal conscious torment. I do believe that the vessel(s) of wrath, the presence of INDWELLING SIN which is OF THE DEVIL is the vessel(s) of DISHONOR and WRATH...

Paul elaborates this example when he gets to Romans 11, showing that ALL OF ISRAEL shall be saved, even those who were MADE (past tense) enemies of the Gospel...they will be SAVED ANYWAY... "because" God LOVES them. Israel was always taught and still believe to this day that they are GOD'S CHILDREN as this is what they are taught by scriptures. (Deut. 14:1 or Psalm 82:6 for examples)

We know "when" they are saved is when God TAKES AWAY THEIR SIN...

We also know that they were made enemies by GOD HIMSELF placing a SPIRIT OF STUPOR upon them. NOT that Israel as God's children were or even are the SAME AS that "spirit of stupor." The spirit of stupor was PLACED upon them BY GOD...and this was done for the SAKE of the Gentiles, that WE ALSO would know what our "condition" is, that being the PRESENCE of INDWELLING SIN which is NOT US. Paul called that presence of indwelling sin NO LONGER I twice in Romans 7:17-21, clearly showing it was NOT JUST HIM in his body....Paul also stated that he had EVIL PRESENT WITH HIM whenever he desired to do good....

NONE of us as mankind, God's offspring, are EXEMPT from this working of the power of the DEVIL in our flesh and minds...When we "see this fact" we should no longer CONDEMN our fellow man, but we SHOULD condemn the usurpers of THEIR and our OWN bodies and minds...THE DEVIL.

We are then FREED to fulfill our obligations to LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS AS OURSELVES, yet we CAN maintain also "sound judgment" against INDWELLING SIN...as we do NOT condemn the CAPTIVES...but their CAPTORS...and we are NOT EXEMPT either as believers.

God in Christ came and REVEALED THESE ENTITIES OPENLY in the New Testament....Jesus SHOWED US the present CAPTIVITY of mankind is BY THE DEVIL...IN THEM...in OUR FLESH and in our MINDS.

And as stated prior, your understandings of some external physical manifestation is just another deception that Satan has born IN you....

You are ignoring scripture that speaks about the man of sin/beast who will be destroyed by Christ at His return. It's an actual person (powered by the devil) who will stand in an actual temple and proclaim himself to be God. He will be allowed to do so for 42 months.

I would suggest that Christendom can depart from the truth.. although the church of God cannot.. and I'm talking about the true church of God, those who are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, and who have the truth dwelling WITHIN them.. for ever..

So it is error to teach or to suggest that the church of God can depart from the truth..

you seem to deny the seed of the devil...if Christ is the seed of the woman, a physical reality, why wouldn't the other be a physical reality?

Anyway, don't bother to answer...we are not close enough in understanding to discuss this subject so that it may benefit us....

I do not deny the spiritual part, but believe that the spiritual lessons on earth had a physical beginning, including the seed of the serpent...for that to be true, Satan must not be a condition only, but a reality...an entity.

It doesn't matter what you or I 'see' as the church of God.. what matters is that the church of God (as the scriptures describe it) cannot depart from the truth..

So perhaps you should modify your statement.. it doesn't matter to me.. although techincally your statement which says that the church shall depart from the truth.. is incorrect.

If you said that Christendom will depart from the truth.. then that's a valid statement..

The term "man" is a multifunctional term in text that can be applied to mankind or even to THE DEVIL as the MAN of SIN...because "he who commits sin is OF THE DEVIL" (1 John 3:9) and the DEVIL is IN MANKIND...

We should be cognizant that when scriptures speak to MAN it speaks to TWO entities...One, the offspring of God whom ALL of MANkind are, AND...the DEVIL who is ALSO in the flesh of MANkind. So don't just "presume" that all scripture is JUST TO MANKIND as human beings because MANkind consists of MORE than "just us."

It's an actual person (powered by the devil) who will stand in an actual temple and proclaim himself to be God. He will be allowed to do so for 42 months.

Sorry Jen...there are a multitude of scriptures that dictate that the anti-Christ will assuredly NOT be an individual MAN...and many scriptures which state WHY this CANNOT be possible. You may want to review some of my posts with zeke and respond to specific reasons WHY this CANNOT be so.
