--I think others have illustrated the inconsistencies in this initial post. I think the most fascinating thing about our sun is its oblique axis of rotation relative to the planets.

The ummm, was because that is what you said to me in your first post. The DUH is because I know I did not want people to access my hard drive, and a response in kind, to the one you left for me. I pasted the above link because THAT was the ONLY option I was given and that is where the image is located..I assumed it would paste it to the site ot become part of the site. I know what the URL is that I tagged, that was THE ONLY option I was given. I simply wanted to paste my picture to the site from this location. Period. I tried it the other way and still does not work.
Isn't there an atom somewhere that you can pretend to know how to split?

Nice. You screwed up the attachment, I mention that in a roundabout way, in the same vein if you had toilet paper on your shoe, in a not sure if she is aware of the obvious, that it is referencing your hard drive directly and what do I get for my little bit of trouble? Petty vehemence. It must be fun *****ing strangers out who don't immediately leap to your side as a knight in shining armour when you can't figure out that attachements in an email are different than in a http-based forum.

Thank god med students don't have to paste images to perform their duties, you pompous ***, or we would all be in trouble.

I apologize for the perception of assholishness from my first post, it was not what was intended.

But that is it. I will keep my pseudo-intellect as far from your magnificent greatness as is possible. I would hate to offend again.

I don't think "wow, I am smart, look at me" Although I do have a big one... I come here to learn, test the ideas I have read or thought up against other rational humans of various philosophical bents, and share what I do know, or think I do.

But back to the issue, you never asked for help in uploading the image. In fact, your first appeal for help was

For all I knew you could have been running a webserver on your desktop and incorrectly referenced the image directly rather than through the webspace. Arikay, the consumate gentleman, was able to help AFTER you revealed more info, in that wonderfully charming way you have.

If you are really a med student, I would recommend a spelling course, because it would rather insulting if those burger-flipping lowlifes would come in here with pseudo knowledge, but spil yu ito a kernor.

Dr. Feelgood- First I wanted to say I am very sorry for de-railing your thread. I was driving home from school today and was feeling guilty about my post to you and the silly posts. My HONEST intention was only to correct you about the difference between Galaxy and Universe-It kind of steamrolled. I in know way wanted to get into a flame war. May be a little too late, but I am sorry. And yo uare right-everyone does make mistakes, I should know- I get hammered for mine quite often. School is stressful and I have noticed sometimes I come here and beat up on a few people. Not nice and surely not professional behavior. I am a professional and need to start behaving like one. I love science and come here to relax, not act like a creep-and if a woman can be a creep, I have been one. SORRY to YOU!

Ford Prefect- I was AWFUL to you today via PM's back and forth at school. I feel really bad about some of the things I said to you. Like I said, school was a pressure cooker today and I have a horrible head cold. (Not and excuse-I know). My computer skills are not that good and I took what he said as a slam. Very childish on my part. Like I just told you, you are an intelligent poster and please do not go anywhere or leave-if you do, do not let it be because of me!! I need to clean up a few areas of my behavior and stop acting like a spoiled brat. I am in my early 30's, what I have been doing here is silly. It had become a war of the egos (for me)-and I DO have a large one (going to work on that as well). I guess I wanted to show I could keep up with the Physics guys (since that is my first love-but like I told Ford in a PM-my math is not good enough for that!) AND NO Doctors are not rocket scientists, or anything close....there are many more professions with people just as intelligent and many more-so. Ford has made me realize I need to get off of my high horse. I guess once I got into Medical school the old ego REALLY swelled. I do love science and still will discuss here. Many people here have taught me a lot. I am not posting this under any type of prodding from Greg or anyone else- no one has said anything to me, I was just feeling bad. I unleashed on Ford today and realized later that he is a person WITH feeling and a GOOD person. SO SORRY Ford!! You are a good person and have interesting posts. Sorry about that.
