Looking at the position of south africa and australia it is strange to see that they are far apart during the precambrian, yet both continents have similar rock formations and precambrian fossils in that stage.
If india was in near contact with australia at that stage would not the two have a similar precambrian rock and fossil record

Interesting observation. But South Africa and South America anlso have similar formations. So ties up there.

No south america has no similar rock and fossilisation to that I have described.
Australian Chert microfossils ...Marble Bar
Swaziland microfossils
