Am I correct in supposing that if one were to replace those words with others they would be guilty of bypassing the censor?
For example: "Doggone! That flapping donkey makes me want to smack the heck out of him" (Makes no sense I know but I wanted to get clarification since I try really hard to do the right thing and all these potential infractions are starting to scare me.)

In the PAST, saying things like "freaking" or "crap" or "bullsnot" have NOT been considered bypass violations. One could say "you make me so freaking mad" for example and that would be fine. Same with using something like "%*$&ing" which bes considered "Andy Capp cussing" and though some try to report it, it bes consistently ruled NV, at least for this one. Bypassing would be something to cause the cussword to SHOW, like (pretending the word "snot" to be a cuss here): SN*T, SN0T (uses zero for O), SN.OT (inserts period to foil the filter), etc.
Note, however, that bes in the PAST, pre-LeeD. God only knows WHAT will be ruled WHAT now. And since He suffers such rulings to take place in sekrit, apparently He ain't tellin', either.
i mainly like the usage of names of Jesus.God etc section of the rule
hopefully that will help clean up this place

But usually done very politely, so that's ok....
