The shirt exploded with the force of a large firecracker the minute it hit the floor. Beau sheilded his face, then turned to the boy and grinned sheepishly. "Uh...sorry 'bout that. Here." He took off his oversized jacket and handed it to him. "Uh...you can borrow this if you want...."

Masaki's clairvoyance told him that if he said His name is Stephen, and his power is sending out a sort of mental static that messes with peoples' thoughts, and he asked one of us to fill you in afterwards, so that's what I'm doing, then everyone else would know what was going on and Stephen would be happy with that. Alicia looked at him, confused. "How'd you know that? You weren't affected?"
"I was, but one possible future was me saying that, and that was the only one where everyone knew what he'd said."

Stella watched the commotion all around the cafeteria, she started to wonder why she had come here in the first place, she could have just lived out her life in silence at home. She sighed to herself, she missed Thor tremendously, and his not speaking to her was making this harder and harder.
Kenji shook his head at the boy, still looking incredibly ticked off, and said, "forget it, I'll get my own shirt." Then he turned and walked briskly out of the cafeteria.
His sister, Emi, hesitated for a minute, looking at Beau with an apologetic look on her face. Her mouth opened like she was about to say something, but her cheeks turned a dark red and she turned turned away from him to get some food.

"S-sorry!" Beau called after them, but recieved no reply. Blushing fiercely, he pulled his jacket back on and skulked into the cafeteria, grabbed a hamburger, and sat down at a table near a dark-skinned girl, a Japanese boy, and two others, hoping that "safety in numbers" would still hold true.

((wow you guys are going perrty fast. It makes me smile. But ya'll are confusing me. My character's name is Stephen(Stefen) and HeavenSolider's Character is Steven. You guys are talking to Steven. ))
Stephen sat at the table all alone just staring at his food. He wasn't really hungry; hadn't been hungry for a long time. But he kept glancing back at Hothands. How could he just act as if nothing had happened between them. All of a sudden they're at the same school and Hothands is talking to him like their best friends. Stephen sure wasn't thinking that way. In his mind Hothands was still his enemy. And Stephen wasn't letting his guard down for anyone.
Stephen continued to sit and think to himself. Thats how he usually spent his meal time. He liked being alone and wouldn't have it anyother way. Suddenly Stephen looked down at his hand. He hadn't even noticed, but his hands were shaking and Stephen was feeling rather weak. He needed energy, but eating that hamburger wasn't how he was gonna get it. He scanned the room looking for a victim.
((I realized that i never gave Stephen a weakness, so i wanted to add a little dimension to his powers. Let me know if this is alright.
Ever since Stephen became the Phantom, he gained the power to control others, but he found that he can only go so long before he has to enter a person. All of the energy he recieves comes from the host that he enters. Stephen no longer has the need for food or sleep. but if he is kept from overshadowing a person or animal for an amout of time, he will become very weak and eventually die.))
Emiko walked by Beau on her way to an empty table. She stopped and stood by him for a moment, biting her lip softly, then she blurted out in a small voice, "don't take it personally." Her cheeks turned red again and she walked away quickly.
Kenji returned to the cafeteria moments later and found his sister sitting by herself. He got a few slices of pizza, then went and sat down across from her, still looking angry.
"Uh, thanks." Beau was about to explain everything--all about how he'd only had his powers for a few weeks and still didn't know how to control them--but she was already gone. He sighed, looking down at his hamburger. So much for starting over....

Emiko ate slowly, but her brother finished his pizza quickly and left the cafeteria with a book tucked under his arm. She considered following him, but figured since he was in a bit of a bad mood that she should let him read alone. After all, he was probably heading up to his dorm, and she couldn't follow him there.
So she stayed sitting at her table all by herself, slowly eating her food and looking around at all the people. She spotted Beau looking a little downcast and felt bad for walking away from him; but she wasn't surprised. Most people misinterpreted her shyness as her not liking them.
((i'm assuming that my alteration to Stephen's power is alright.))
Stephen could feel his body getting weak. He hadn't refueled in a while. His eyes faded from their normal bright blue and were becoming as gray as his hair. Normally Stephen would sneak up on someone to do this, but in this instance, everyone was busy doing their own thing that no one would even notice. Stephen scanned ther area for a worthy victim, some one alone and unsuspecting. The room was preety crowded, but Stephen did notice a girl sitting at a table all alone. Perfect.
Stephen casually got up and brought his full tray of food over to the trash can. Then he headed over to the lone girl. He slowly walked up behind her and gently put his hand on Emiko's shoulder. That was all it took. Imediately Stephen entered the girl's body. Most mutants frowned upon Phantom's controling others unvoluntary, but he needed the energy and wasn't gonna go ask some one if they wanted being conrtoled from the inside. Stephen hoped that the girl wasn't a telepath. The last time Stephen tried overshadowing on of those it ended rather bad on his end. But it appeared the girl was not. Stephen rested in her body, now having complete control of the poor girl's body. Appaerantly this girl could make force fields. interesting. Stephen remained in the girl for the time needed, then decided, he had had enough. He forced her body to stand up, and walk out of the caffeteria. He led her down an empty hall. There he simply stepped out of her body and sneaked into the bathroom behind the girl not allowing her to even catch a glimps of him. It would probably take the girl a few moments to regain her control as it usually did. At first the girl would feel slightly drained or weakened, but depending upon how strong she was, it mouldn't take long for her to be back to her usual self.
Stephen looked around the bathroom. It was empty. Perfect. He glanced in his reflection in the mirror. His eyes again their true blue.
((hope you dont mind me conrtoling you. Emiko will be able to see but not feel whats going on, but she wont be able to move on her own or stop herself.))

Emi stood there for a moment, her eyes wide in shock. She felt as if she'd just been taken over by some unseen force; but she specifically remembered someone touching her shoulders. As soon as she could move, she whirled around and looked behind her. Unfortunately, she moved rather quickly and suddenly saw stars. She staggers a little, then fell against the wall.
What's...going on? she thought, her mind panicking. She shook slightly as she sat, her back against the wall.
Ok... she thought, trying to calm herself, there are mutants here, just like me...maybe someone's powers were affecting me and they didn't mean to do it.... Or maybe they did it on purpose... The last thought terrified her and she stood up suddenly and hurried down the hall back to the cafeteria, looking around nervously as if she thought she was being watched. She stumbled into the cafeteria, still looking around with a scared look on her face.

That's actually one of the reasons I had her brother leave.
