Lumber takes three years to cure. As far as provisions, God provided for them through His miracle of supply. So there was always food for the animals in the feed buckets. I would imagine that God provided the trees for the lumber. A tree not to difficult to cut, light with good waterproofing ability. Ceder and redwood are known to last in wet conditions and they are both very easy to cut and very easy to work with.
You think maybe the ark was covered with cedar shakes? Cedar also splits very easily so I don't know how good it is for making really big wooden structures. Anyway, I suggest you go and cut down a fair sized cedar or redwood tree with an axe and make it into nice uniform boards with hand tools and then come back and tell us how easy it was.
Jesus and his miracles were generally not considered causes of massive geological upheavals. One can usually tell when one's planet has been flooded.
And really, no matter how you play the game, you eventually have to resort to Goddidit to explain the Ark. Whether it's construction, space limitations, the collection of animals, the feeding of the animals for a year, or the survival of species from tiny breeding populations, at some point, God always get stuck in there doing SOMETHING.
There's no way to coherently construct an ark model that DOESN'T call for an act of the impossible.

God: Hey, Noah, IŽm gonna flood this evil world - build a ship to save the animals and your family.
Noah: Ok, boss - but... how do I get all the wood I need for this boat.
God: Oh, youŽre right. Well, I just miracle them to you.
Noah: It also seem a little structually unsound. How do I keep that massive boat stable?
God: Wait a sec - IŽll do a miracle.
Noah: How many animals should I get? Two of each, seven of some? Now where will I find all these animals?
God: No problem - they will be send to you by another miracle.
Noah: All these animals need a lot of food, and produce a lot of excrements - I just cannot do all this with just seven helpers.
God: I will send another miracle to keep them fed and cleaned.
Noah (on sea): How do I keep this barge from capsizing in this wild flood waters? Perhaps I should have build a keel on this box?
God: Wait, IŽll keep you save with a miracle.
Noah: Say, God, why did you not just miracle all the bad people away? Would that not have been easier?
God: IŽll send a miracle to stop you from asking such stupid questions.

You sure about that? Since we have never seen the planet completely flooded, it takes a lot of speculation and assumption to guess at what the effects might be.

God said He did it, so there isn't really anything wrong with saying God aided Noah. God caused the flood. Of course He was part of it!! Do you actually think we would believe in a world wide flood if God didn't have anything to do with it?
