My mother is pagan and i'm as christian as jesus was! I don' t have a problem with witchcraft. Most of its users use the power for good and not for evil! My mother also doesn't go around telling people to practice witchcraft. before you criticize its users you should find out more about other religions! |

Have fun but this " You are nuts!" is a little rude, now if you don't agree then just say you don't agree, but lets not fall into name calling (at least not until you've been here for a while! ) Anyway welcome and be blessed!

Reps: 530 (power: 0) | | | Even if there is a "Wiccan Barbie"... so what?
There are thousands of Christian toys out there, why can't we have toys for our children that identify with our religion?
If you don't like it... don't buy it. Apparently there's enough of the buying public out there that doesn't have a problem with it that Mattel thinks it won't hurt sales and will make a profit. Despite what you choose to believe it's not hurting anyone, especially not you if you exercise your right not to buy it.

Most of them, we've never even heard of. Half of them we'd probably say are stupid. Barbie is stupid. Her whole line of dolls (wether you love 'em or hate 'em) serve no real purpose. They're not going to be a source of religious revolution in children. Ever. To even think such a think denotes (to me) a total lack of perspective.
If the world is finding time to debate the spiritual impact of Barbie (and only one doll in a line that streches probably around the globe several times if we bothered to line them up) then we simply (myself included) have way too much time on our hands.

Hmmmm - Jesus had a problem with witchcraft! GALATIONS 5:19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; [20] idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions [21] and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
That said, Welcome to CF!

Except this doll has nothing to do with real witchcraft.
