But there is a mermaid doll.

Am I being led to understand that you knew exactly every toy that every friend of your children owned? I find that hard to believe. You might think you know everything about your children's friends parents, but I guarantee you did not. And a toy that bothers me, does not necessarily bother another set of parents. You say you don't like toy guns, well don't pretend to tell me that your children never played with a child that owned a toy gun. You just can't screen people like that. It's better that these toy manufacturers don't create controversial toys in the first place. Wouldn't that be refreshing! But they will never stop creating these toys as long as people don't protest or complain.
We're getting drastically off-topic here. I didn't post to be called names or labeled paranoid and a lousy parent. I was simply bringing up a topic for discussion. I'm sorry some people jumped to an assumption that I was discussing a different doll but I certainly can't control that.

I'm telling you, that I wouldn't let my child go over to someone else's house without me, until I had spent quite a bit of time with that child's parents, and knew how they felt about things like this for instance, if it bothered me.
Yes I would flat out ask them if they let their children play with toy guns, it's just that easy.
I don't recall anyone calling you names, nor a lousy parent.

What effect exactly do you think a Witchy Barbie would have on a kid? |

It's like boys and G.I. Joe.
And that secret spells comment was just pathetic.

Ok, that's a bit rude.

It would be nice to have a little friend to take along while assimilating cultures..wouldn't it?
I wonder if this Barbie comes with a pink minivan and matching shoes? Probably not.
Wonder how Ken feels being the boyfriend of a borg drone? Oh who cares...just tell him to shut up and assimilate him.
And he thought, "Resistance is futile" was a come on line. Silly Male.
