Oh My Goodness - do you know that I completely forgot that I had posted up this thread
i'm in the middle of trying to get my main tattoo re-inked. WHen I was in my 20s I got Richey Edwards Tattoo (Useless Generation) tattooed on my arm. It's a beautiful one but I would prefer more of a christian wording now !!!
The other one I have on my back is a Heart with a Dove in it and an Olive leaf in its mouth.
I would love to have a scene from Revelation on my back - no doubt that would cost a fortune and sadly I'm
The three fairies together sounds great!!! That will look really effective!

The Heart with a Dove in it and the Olive leaf in its mouth sounds nice, and I really like the symbolism it carries! (I'm assumin it's peace and love ;p)
I get what u mean bout the $$...there's tonnes of tattoo ideas I get sometimes but putting pen to paper, or rather ink to skin, is another matter altogether.
Oh and alexier I believe the three fairies will not be together, 3girls2dogs mentioned the placing above...perhaps you can post pics once you get em if you feel comfortable
Oh by the way, do you guys browse any sites in particular for flash or just tattoo ideas? For me its just www.bmezine.com or www.bodymod.org .
Has anyone ever heard of scarification. My arms are seriously scarred, and have thought about getting them covered with Tats however apparently scar tissue is not easy to tattoo over

yeah... tats don't do well over scars. have you seen an artist about it, though? Or maybe a dermatologist for suggestions?

II Corinthians 5:17-21
17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

I have a Unicorn on my thigh, and it didn't come out well because of scar tissue (stretch marks) there. They don't cover well, and believe it or not, that was my most painful tattoo.

As in the bodymod of Scarification? Heard of it n only seen pics, looks a lil too painful for me.
From what I've read on the internet scar tissue is harder too tatt, n more painful too but is still possible as long as it's well healed.

I did find a site called ChristianTattoo but it wasnt going anywhere! I will go and look at the other sites! I think there is definately a need for a great all-encompassing Tattoo site for Christians and people of Faith in general.
Has anybody wondered why people who don't call themselves religious get tattoos of Angels etc. DO you think that they do believe in God just not Church.
When I told my Vicar about my Tattoos (as I'm hoping to go into the Priesthood) he said that Tattoos were a real opportunity to talk about faith in the real world.

Mine was the four leaf clover on my ankle. Never thought something so small could hurt so much
