Why do people argue about things they cannot prove or disprove....cause its fun. But there is no real purpose of arguement except for the sake of hearing oneself speak. |

because, things that cant be proven or disproven, still have a very real impact on the world.

And partially because, in the case of creationism and evolution, there are real-world consequences (such as some people deciding what should be taught in science class because of their religious belief).

When in fact life is meaningless. You are born because your parents had sex, you die because everything dies. Why does life have to have a purpose? But i agree there is a purpose, to live. Poeple who commit suicide realize that life doesent really have a purpose and that since they are going to die anyway why not just make it less painful and do themselves in, instad of having endless hartbreak and strife. Now i would never kill myself because I dont have the guts to, and right now im enjoying the simple pleasures of life. (sex, money, drugs) Who are you to say that what i do is wrong, and who are you to say what you do isnt wrong.

Ive been typing on this forum for like 3 hours now and my wrists are about to give out so im trying to type fast so i can get through with it and rest. And no i didnt contradict myself. Its called showing different view points for the sake of making people think differently. In a sense i play the devil's advocate. I type not only for other people to say, but I type it so i can have daily affermation of the vaildity in my arguements. |

Fun? Yeah, sure it's fun. It's gonna be hilarious when our next generation of biologists sets out to breed healthier goats and does it by putting stripped branches in front of them. Oh yes that'll be fun.
It's gonna be even more fun when we decide to change the study of medicine over to the study of Leviticus. We'll even have a cure for leprosy. One that doesn't work, but hey, it's a CURE!
Our space program will be amazing. Put an astronaut on a rocket, launch him and pray it gets to Mars... or where ever you're trying to go.
And we can forget about DNA testing to determine paternity. With virgins giving birth all over the place there won't be any need for that...
