Adoption or not?

Had a really odd dream last night....I've been praying on whether it's right for me to adopt and WHEN and that I'm making the decision for the right reasons and not because I'm lonely or impulsive. Anyhoo, in my dream - can't remember most of it or the sequence of events, I had something in my hand, or maybe it was someone else's hand (God's?) - but it was two babies in an amniotic sac, a boy and a girl (I think, I have no way of knowing as they were squashed lol). I know that they were alive and well.

ANYHOO, what does it mean? Does it mean that I am going to conceive them at some point OR does it mean that they are outside my body, and thus children that will come up for adoption at some point? I've never considered a boy because I'm single and would have no clue how to raise a boy.

Being single myself I pretend no real knowledge of this subject.
But spiritaully speaking... and this is only a general view, but I would suggest that for such a serious matter which is more about the childs life than yours, I respectfully suggest that the dream comes from your own carnal desires, which stem from your fleshly soul ie; flesh life... which is in part what you suggested yourself. And I did note, that you did not state as too wheather or not you were a believer.
I'm not putting God in a box but it is very unlikely, so unless you can explian the very unusal circumstances that relate to your life and as to why God would want you to adopt then I would say it is a dream related to your natural reproduction desires stemming from your femmenine carnal life.
Perhaps, God telling you to pray for this issue to be removed, all issues must go to the cross first, die and then see what God chosses to resurrect.
I would suggest that this is the reason the dream was given in the first place, to make you aware of a issue in your life that God's wants removed.
A common mistake many christians make is misunderstanding the reason why the dream was given.

Hi Swee, I agree with Stafy - we have to be so careful that we don't let our own inherent desires cloud the desire God has for our lives. Yip, put it to the Lord, lay it down before the Cross and know He will come back to you with an answer in His perfect timing. The biggest part of being Christians is learning about His timing, waiting patiently and obediently for Him. But many times when we look back, we see how He truly is the potter, we the clay - the tapestry of our lives woven so beautifully and intricatelly that we wonder if He hadn't been in our lives, would we have arrived at the certain junction we are supposed to be at. Too often, we take matters into our own hands and then seek God's counsel later. (This has been a big one for me this year). Take care friend, He knows your heart's desires ...
