The Poll That mysteriously disappeared!

So is a poll that can engender debate a debate topic or not?

I commented and voted in Stone's poll as well.

I've also commented in two threads in the main forum that I didn't think belonged in the main forum.

All we can do is report a thread started in the Main Forum that doesn't belong there. The people that comment in threads started there sometimes just comment to say "I don't think this thread belongs here", and that's not a rule violation.

I think I commented in the thread you got reported for Woob, but I'm not sure. I didn't report it, but I didn't think it was fellowship or questioning from a visitor either, which is what that forum is for. Technically, I think it probably was a rule violation even though you asked for no debate.

Uplifting topics, every day occurrences that people want to share, sharing an upcoming event on 3ABN etc. are supposed to go in the Main Forum along with questions from our guests.

Why is everybody that is receiving warnings being so hard on Daryl? He's just doing his job and not showing favortism between Prog/Trad and that's exactly what we asked him to do.

Stone's poll really probably should've been in the D/D forum here, but only because WE debate so much, not because his question was something that shouldn't be discussed.

He wasn't flaming anybody, he was just asking our opinion(s).

I am presently the only assigned elected SDA Forum Moderator, therefore, it is only natural that I receive all the flack for decisions made.

Also, according to the way things are set up, rule violations in the forums are only looked at and deemed as either a rule violation or a no rule violation when the post, thread, or poll has been reported. We received no such report.

I personally had concerns about the poll in the same way that reddogs and other did, but not to the extent of reporting it as a rule violation. Based on those concerns, the poll was removed by stone.
