I am not Roman Catholic but I felt that I need to clarify something. There are many protestants who I have heard and I myself was convinced at one time that the Roman Catholic faith system was cultic, with a higher understanding and a greater regard for the faith of my brothers and sisters in Christ, I have come to realize and regret what I believed. I have friends who love the Lord, and are devoted to his cause, and are catholic.
The problem with labeling cults are that those we label cults sometimes label us as cults, and it is very subjective. My definition is any religion that claims to be christian but denies the deity of Christ, and denies his salvation for man that he paid for on the cross.
Anyway I have a deeper respect for my RCC brethern, I do disagree with some of their theology but I have come to realize that the RCC is part of the church, the catholic church

Well, it's good to know that you don't believe that we Catholics rank right up there with the Mormons and the JW's, Godzman. That's a step in the right direction.

Yeah, but you came from us, not the other way around. I am referring to this comment. but I have come to realize that the RCC is part of the church, the catholic church.
I believe you to be sincere but you are in error if you think we are a denomination, we are not but you are because you broke from us or from someone who broke from us, IIRC, assembly of God is only about 80 or so years old. |

God wants us to work together, for satan divides the church. But I wasn't for sure what you were talking about, but yes, I see that your history is accurate. |

You mention that you still have disagreement with some theology although you see us as brothers and sisters in Christ.
I was wondering if you would want to talk of some of your disagreements, so that we may better understand eachother?
I really do appreciate your post |
