Now I just got out of a discussion with my father. I do not want to offend anyone but it seems like I do all the time on CF especially if I dare to use God's word.
My daddy had a stroke and cigarettes, smoking marijuana, and drinking daily is one of the main reasons why he went through this. Now he is doing it again but not like he use to.
My older brother is suffering from diabetes. He doesn't eat right, exercise, or anything. He will do it for a little bit and then fall.
He is not really making an effort to do what he needs to do on his part.

How is God suppose to heal somone when they are in sin and they do not want to change their sin?
Like I want to lose weight but lately I have been eating a lot of sweets. I didnt work out or anything. How can I expect God to move when I am not even doing my part?

God can move mountains and do anything he wants but I do believe the sin in our lives is like a door we open that allows the enemy to come in, so the more sin the less we allow the flow of abundance and freedom to be poured out from heaven.

All of us are sinners saved by His grace.. everyone who is saved from hell.. death.. and sin and has ever been healed by God are the same ..
Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
Grace is Gods unmerited favor toward us...
When our minds and hearts are opened to what God has done.. wether we realise it or not... We are changed.. Satan has blinded the minds of most men and women so that they cannot see or hear or know what God has done..
But because of Gods great love for us.. He sent His Son to die and break the curse which includes sin and sickness.. being unable to freely come to God..
Because Jesus didn't stay dead.. but rose again.. and came back to earth to give His Holy Spirit.. and then told those who had the Spirit to go make disciples.. teaching them and preparing them to tell others about Himself.. There was now a way for all men to find salvation..
I just read a great Healing teaching here about what the word saved.. salvation means.. and it means healing from sickness too.. These sicknesses your family suffer are a result of thier sin... and the curse of sin on mankind.. At this stage the probably have their spiritual eyes closed to what God has done for them so that they cannot turn and repent.. They do not yet feel the gravity of their actions..
God changes us when His Spirit opens our eyes.. our condition is revealed to us.. and we can then turn and repent.. Go Gods way..
You can expect God to move.. when You seek Him with all your heart.. Seeking what He wants for you and your family.. His Spirit will motivate you in the spirit and flesh.. and give you the strength to do what is needed..
More then your outer body.. God is interested in your heart.. When you surrender to Him.. and realise You need Him in every part.. God will change the inside which brings changes to the outside too as we give Him full reign!!
Once you know what God has done for you.. you will then tell want to tell your family and you will have hope for them too.. They can then turn to God and be healed also.. Sometimes God heals our bodies first but He is always wanting our heart more.. As God works and changes you.. your family will notice and could become interested in what happened to you and want that for themselves!
It is Gods Spirit that brings the changes in us.. He turns our hearts towards God and opens our eyes.. and then we can fall on our knees and realise who He is.. Then we can get up and start to change everything else but always with His help!!

I'm sorry the Lord told me personally that if I dont change my ways I will die. I ignored Him and guess what happened? The enemy tried to give me a stroke
Everyone always want to focus on the good in the bible. What about when people sin? What about.....the wages of sin is death?
If God is such a God of grace then why is the world going to end? Why are people going to hell? Why do some reap corruption? Because they do not want to obey the Lord. You can not disrespect your body and expect the Lord to touch your body. God didnt heal me from HIV until I stop fornicating.
Now I believe He will heal those of dieases they had no control over. The ones who relationship with Him is satisfying and those who take care of their bodies. I have patients with Parkinsons and I dont think God wont heal them because of things like that. Which I cant say that sin didnt put them in that position. Until the day the Lord say Krystle do whatever you want and I will bless you regardless I will believe that. Gods grace is running short, His patience is getting thin...if not then why His wrath is about to be on the children of disobedience?
Having faith in God is not something you do...It is a lifestyle
You cannot change your ways.. We cannot.. for we have sinned.. God does not force us.. He never forces us to change our ways and He does not condemn us.. He does not want anyone to perish but for all to come to repentance.. He loves us.. forgives us.. and cleanses us as if we have never sinned..
I am not saying people don't perish.. but the end of the world has not come yet..
God says the world is going to end.. but He also says if we preach the good news to the ends of the earth.. and it is good news.. People will be saved.. Saved from hell fire.. saved from judgement.. saved from their sins.. the result of their sins..
You cannot change your ways.. only God can do that.. But you can know you need too.. You can cry out to God to change you.. and He will..
Repentance.. is not what we think... doing something of our own accord.. one day doing something and another not doing it.. for our flesh is so weak.. Repentance is hearing with our Spirit that God is who He says He is.. and believing on Him and what He says and God changind our hearts and minds.. that is faith.. Because God says.. faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God..
Our Spirit is strong.. if you feed your spirit.. feed on the Word of God and dwell on God with all you are.. You will find that through doing it.. through feeding on it.. You realise how we cannot save ourselves... even a little.. but that it is only God who can turn our hearts of stone into hearts of flesh..
Ezekiel 36:26
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
God is blessing us.. for He sends rain on the just and unjust..
It is not that He removes His blessing from us.. rather that because of the curse of sin.. we have moved out from under His care but God is always there blessing His people.. We have lost the ability to realise who He is and what He has done..
We have been blinded to His truth.. When you step into the light.. There is no judgement.. no condemnation.. Because we are in Christ Jesus..
God is love..

1 Corinthians 13:12-13
12We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!
13But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.
Faith is very very important..
But love is the most important of all.. God is love.. When you really really come to know and experience that love.. You don't want to live the same.. You want to step away from your life and all that you have been and step into Gods way.. Into His love.. His peace.. His joy.. His Kingdom!!
Faith.. I guess is like a way to God.. protecting us from lies.. the devil.. our own way of thinking.. but Love.. is God.. God is love.. and when we think love.. when we live love.. when we die to all that we once loved.. We find God.. and in that place there is nothing evil.. nothing to separate us from Him.. Lest of all sin.. and death.. and sickness!! All these things have passed away!! The new has come.. Halleujah..

Yes I can change my ways and I am doing it every day. I am eating right, working out, reading the bible, and etc but God is the one that sees me through, that srengthens me, and etc.
I am not going to lie to people and tell them they can keep smoking a pack of cigarettes a day and God will heal them. Whats the point of healing that person if they are going to kill there lungs.
What if God healed them by taking the desire away from them in the first place?
This happened to my husband.. He knew what I thought of it.. but not once did he stop when I would tell him what God said.. or what it meant to his health..
One day.. he just stopped.. that was not him.. or me ... but God!!!
I am not saying we cannot do anything.. we can.. but rather I am praising God for everything instead!!

Actually no.. I don't think he did.. He got sick at the time.. and he got a bad fright.. He always told me.. that I would bury him with a packet in his hand.. Praise God.. for however it happened!! The sickness that caused this has since gone away!! He on the other hand although tempted has not taken it back up.. Praise God..
We can pray that peoples hearts are open to change and softened to hear the voice of the Lord and that they are healed.. the prayer of a righteous man avails much..
God say.. the prayer of faith will heal the sick..
James 5:15
And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
