You know, in most 'Sabbath School' classes, while it is often frowned on, people can make objection to what is being taught. They may get chastised for it and some may try to bring them back into 'alignment', but at least people have more of a voice in some locations.

Reps: 5,011,136,274,538 (power: 5,011,136,282) | | Hi once again Freeindeed2, The reason I sugested the D&D is because the reason for creating the New Adventist/Bible Study subforum was it was requested by a new Adventist that didn't want to be involved in debate. Unfortunately, far too many who post on these boards, and elsewhwere on the web, are not looking for information they just want to argue. Arguement is not conducive to learning. There is another element that must be understood and that is here online there is no direct face to face interaction between posters. A person, no mater which side of the arguement they happen to be on, reacts completely different when speaking face to face because we can tell by a persons expression a great deal about the "what, where, who and why" for asking a given question. I pray that this will help you understand the forum's position. Rewspectfully, your brother in Christ, Doc |

But debate IS conducive to learning, and a one-sided debate is no debate at all (the preferred method here).
In Christ alone...

Usually it involves more heat and smoke than any light.

When they are wrong on the simple, why should you listen to them on the more complex?

One rule you can always count on: never, ever trust the critics on anything. They've proven that they cannot, and will not, tell you the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I now have 99 authors in my plagiarism study. The critics still have zero. |

Would love to see your personal research on that and anything you may have published. Do you have links?

See old forums here, before the split. Anything else I can help you with?
