To get your liscence you just have to take a simple drivers test.
I highly recommend the MSF classes. Community colleges in every area have them.
Even with them, you are still playing with your life getting a bike that is that fast. |

The Lord replied: "My precious, precious child,
I love you and would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffereing,
when you see only one set of footprints in the sand,
it was then that I carried you." |

Also, consider something used and naked. Every beginner makes simple mistakes and you ARE a beginner til ya make 'em. Bikes without fairings and bikes that are used are way less tragic to pick up and repair. Get yer miles on and then look for whatever suits ya. Maybe find an SV650 used, consider KLR if you are tall enough . . . maybe even a nice Supermotard. |
