Spring Fair or Autum Fair in your Church.

Wow what a day. Just came back from St.Albans Springfair in our Muswellbrook. It's one of the greatest things in our church life, why?
No it's not the money it's the most beautiful sharing of ALL congregations in our parish, from the very high Anglicans in the morning to the very low Anglicans in the evening and all in between. All work and plan together, talk together on the fair it's just one big family, praise the Lord for this.
Are you involved in church fair and like to share with us?

Thanks for sharing about this, Norbie - it sounds like it was a wonderful experience with your whole church family. What a credit that is to all of you!

I have been involved in our church fairs many times, but we only have a Christmas fair and not usually a spring or autumn fair. The two stalls I've run in the past are: craft stalls for children where they could make their own tree ornaments and/or Christmas cards (I love arts and crafts), and a Fair Trade stall (I was the person responsible for providing our church with Fair Trade products for a few years). I also usually bake some cakes for the cake stall. I find the fairs to be, as you've stated, a really wonderful time when the whole parish (from three different 'congregations') get together and are focused on the day, with a lot of fellowshipping going on.
